Abhijeet Powar

Abhijeet earned his Bachelor Degree from The University of Pune and also completed DTL (Diploma in Taxation law) from Pune. He has experience working with individual inventors, small businesses, and multinational corporations. Abhijeet works with clients to help identify and protect their intellectual property. This includes both domestic and international filings, strategy, and prosecution. He has a deep dedication and enjoys a pivotal role in strategizing and implementing the firm’s business development practices for trademarks, copyrights, design and patents.

As part of the leadership team, he dedicates his time to defining the strategic vision of the firm and executing that vision to maintain the company position as a leading national intellectual property law firm. He is constantly evaluating new growth areas and leading new business development initiatives to further support the firm’s development goals. Abhijeet’s breadth and depth of marketing experience aided in his ability to develop the strategy for all marketing endeavors while also supporting his small but nimble department in executing that strategy. With an internal drive to consistently exceed expectations, He leads all marketing endeavors to benefit the whole firm, making the brand and each individual attorney shine. Abhijeet works internally with attorneys and staff to track and forecast business budgets and manage accounts payable and collections. Externally, he works with clients to produce customized reports specific to their business needs.

His responsibilities also include filing PCT applications, national stage applications, direct national stage applications and more on behalf of our international clients. He also corresponds with foreign nationals to acquire the documents needed to file these critical applications. He is also responsible for maintaining the foreign filing docket for our attorneys, ensuring critical application deadlines are met. Abhijeet enjoys the challenge of IP law and how every day is a learning experience. His dedication to the details and hard work enables the attorneys throughout the company to continue to provide high-quality service to our national and international clients in IP Law.
